These are the first songs and melodies written and arranged by Samuel (Uel) Irwin. Its a mix of songs about life and observations.

I felt I was not a good enough singer other than to 'initially record 'Huddersfield Blues,' (written around my youngest daughter's wedding) so I asked Kirsty Coard (Carrickfergus) to record them.
She got busy with other outlets so these first seven songs are by her.

After this I sing most of them myself and use Resonate Studios, (Russell Matbouli) to do the music and recording, (and sometimes Billy Smith,) usually done in just two or three takes. Hopefully others can take my work further...Anyway they are now in the public realm and in history.

My ambition is one day Eric Clapton will sing (or record) a version of 'Huddersfield Blues.' As they say in Northern Ireland now 'Dare To Dream.'

Each song is a unique work of mine and is registered with PPL licensing. Video PPL ID 0300720392
PPL IRSC UKAA6 plus the reference numbers, with them, so all are legal.
Words and songs are copyright, but I am sympathetic to them being used or performed on agreement and yes some need a few tweaks.
